The Magic Kingdom, 2011

The Project
In November, 2012, Disney is slated to release their 52nd full-length animated feature, Wreck-It Ralph. To mark this milestone, we’re endeavouring to view one Disney animated feature per week throughout the entirety of 2012. Films will be viewed in the order in which they were released and we’ll provide commentary and fun facts along the way. Pixar films and any sequels won’t be featured.
Who are we?
We’re William and Danielle, a husband-and-wife team who are long-time Disney fans. After visiting Walt Disney World in Florida for our honeymoon in September, 2011, we were inspired to watch (or in most cases, rewatch) all the classic films in order.

  1. Always a pleasure to meet fellow Disney fanatics! I too am partaking in a project regarding the Disney canon. But I’m not reviewing them or ranking them, I’m doing something different. I’m going through each one and identifying and talking about a forgotten/minor character or characters from the films that I believe should be given their 5 minutes of fame!

I’m looking forward to reading your reviews (although it seems that I’m a bit late, lol).

I stumbled across your site by accident really, but I have to say that I am looking forward to reviewing your site on future posts. I checked out the list of movies that you’ll be reviewing and have to say that I have just about every single title with the exception of one or two (all on VHS as I used to collect the movies in hopes of sharing them with my children when the time came). All I can say right now is that my children LOVE all the movies and yes, we still watch them on VHS.

From one Disney fan to the other: Thank you for putting in your all your time and energy in this project. Look forward to reading future updates. 🙂

Thanks for your note, Rosalie! We’re glad you’re enjoying our posts. We’re having a lot of fun going through these films ourselves. So many memories as well as new discoveries. It’s been a really great experience so far, and we’re encouraged by the great feedback we’re getting as well!
